ScreenWeaver is a writing and preproduction workspace for screenplays that runs in the browser.
You write in standard screenplay format, with the margins, character cues, dialogue and pagination professional readers expect. The script is then parsed into its standard elements, and from that same file ScreenWeaver derives the scene breakdown, the storyboard and a runtime estimate.
That matters because in most workflows those three live somewhere else. The breakdown goes into a spreadsheet, the storyboard into another file, and the runtime gets guessed with the old one page one minute rule. Every rewrite means going back over all three, and after a few drafts nobody knows which document is telling the truth. Here they follow the script instead of drifting away from it.
It imports existing scripts, including the Fountain plain-text format, and exports properly paginated PDF that respects the widow and orphan rules of the trade.
Several tools run in the browser with no account at all: a script time calculator, a screenplay format checker, a Fountain to PDF converter and a scene extractor. The interface is available in ten languages.
