Launched Tools Introduction

launched.tools is an independent, curation-first directory of AI tools where every listing is actually reviewed — not aggregated, not paid for, and not ranked by whoever spent the most.

How it works

Every tool we cover gets test-driven and scored out of 100 across five axes: capability, usability, value, reliability, and docs & support. Each listing carries a written verdict, specific pros and cons, and a plain-English summary of what the tool does — so you can read the honest assessment before you burn a free trial (or your users' trust). We reject most of what's submitted; money never moves a score.

What you'll find

  • Reviewed listings across 20+ categories: chatbots, coding assistants, image and video generation, voice, music, automation, agents, no-code, productivity, research, marketing, and more
  • Category roundups — "the best AI [category], tested and scored" — built from our own review corpus, not affiliate feeds
  • Data specials the directory's own numbers make possible, like our freemium-economy report mapping how AI tools really price
  • Freshly launched — new tools reviewed as they appear, with a weekly category spotlight
  • An editorial blog covering methodology, comparisons, and what our review data says about the AI tool market

For makers

Listing is free. Submit your tool in about 3 minutes, verify with a badge, and go live with an honest editorial review, a dofollow link, and distribution to people actively comparing AI tools. The directory is answer-engine optimized, so listings are built to be discoverable in LLM and AI-search answers too — visibility where people increasingly look first.

Why it exists

Most directories list everything and endorse nothing. launched.tools is the opposite: a smaller, reviewed index where inclusion means something — an independent verdict you can actually use to choose.
