Intertakt treats an interval session the way a judged workout floor treats a set: the count arrives by voice, and the athlete never looks at a clock. On a judged floor the music is loud and nobody breaks mid-rep to read a screen. The judge's voice rides over the playlist at its own level, calling every round as it happens: work, rest, next round, last round. The athlete keeps their eyes on the work, and the timing is carried entirely by ear. Interruptions are handled the way a dropped bar is handled mid-set: banked work stays banked. An incoming call or an app switch does not reset anything — the session resumes from the exact second it stopped, never from the top. Voice and beep cues play over your own music, each channel at its own volume. The timer runs with the screen off or the phone face down. Free tier: 0 ads, unlimited sessions, 0 accounts.
