Turn any PDF into a fillable form in your browser — the file never leaves your device

FormForge Introduction

FormForge is a PDF form editor that runs entirely in your browser. Open any PDF and place seven field types - text, checkbox, radio button, dropdown, signature, date and number - directly on the page, with grid snapping, align-and-distribute, undo/redo, 0.25x-4x zoom and local autosave. PDFs that already contain form fields are imported, so you can move, rename, resize or delete what is there and add fields alongside it. A neural network runs locally via WebAssembly and can detect the fields on a flat PDF; the document is never uploaded. Fill and finish gives page-by-page native inputs with required-answer progress and a flattened completed PDF. Batch generation mail-merges a CSV or TSV into a ZIP of personalised PDFs. Form checks cover 21 AcroForm compliance rules, 16 of them fixable in one click. You can sign by drawing or typing, plus optional certificate-based signing on export where the private key never leaves the device. Exports are standard AcroForm PDFs that open in Adobe Reader, macOS Preview, Chrome and Firefox. It installs as a PWA, works as a full touch editor on phones and tablets, and ships in seven languages. Best for HR, public administration, legal practices, small businesses and developers who need AcroForm fixtures - anyone whose PDFs are too confidential to upload.
