Inspect and clean hidden Unicode and formatting artifacts in AI text

ClaudeWatermarks

ClaudeWatermarks Introduction

ClaudeWatermarks is a free, independent browser-based text artifact inspector for people who want to understand unusual hidden characters or formatting in pasted AI text. It checks directly inspectable signals such as zero-width characters, bidirectional controls, Unicode Tags, selected control characters, and clipboard formatting residue. Every finding includes its exact position, category, surrounding context, and proposed change, so users can review what will happen before cleaning. Text is processed locally in the browser and is not uploaded or stored. Users can remove only selected artifacts, copy the reviewed result, and use a separate local C2PA checker for supported file credentials. ClaudeWatermarks does not claim to detect or remove undisclosed model-level watermarks and is independent from Anthropic. It is useful for writers, editors, developers, and researchers who need a transparent inspection workflow instead of a one-click black box.
